Before bringing it home
Make a find a good fit.
Picture its place
Know where the piece will go. Measure the space and check how it will work with the furniture around it.
Find a connection
A repeated color, material, or shape can help a new piece feel at home with things you already own.
Think beyond a season
A basket, tray, or pitcher can move between rooms. Choose versatile pieces you will enjoy using in more than one way.
